Summer may be winding down, but there's plenty of things to do in metro Detroit this weekend, including an antique car festival at Greenfield Village, a popular annual street fair and German cultural celebrations in downtown Detroit.

Here are a few ideas for things to do for the weekend of Sept. 9:

Hundreds of vehicles from the 1890s through 1932 are expected at this antique car show in Greenfield Village that will include food, music, dancing and the opportunity to meet owners who've preserved these treasured machines as you wander the village.

Saturday evening there will be a Gaslight Parade of Cars, dancing with the River Raisin Ragtime Revue and a Dixieland-style parade.

Open Saturday and Sunday at Greenfield Village, 20900 Oakwood in Dearborn. Visit thehenryford.org for hours and tickets. The festival is free with Village admission.

This long-running annual street fair in Detroit’s Cass Corridor offers food, art, more than 40 musical acts, a kids fair, vendors, beer and more.

The kid’s fair will include face painting, tie dye shirt making, Dally "kids poster" making and a crafting station.

11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday, in the Cass Corridor between Forest Avenue, Hancock Street, Second Avenue and Third Avenue in Detroit. Free.

Celebrate beer and German culture with live music, games, food trucks and more in this Downtown Detroit Partnership annual event put on by Visit Detroit and supported by Atwater Brewery and Faygo.

An open-air Biergarten pavilion will offer beer and hard seltzers from craft brewers including Griffin Claw, Spaten, Blake’s Hard Cider and Atwater.

Performances on stage will include DJ Invisible, DJ Skeez, Route 161 Happy Wanderers, Cast Iron Cornbread and The Detroit Drive.

The event also offers a free Root Biergarten, courtesy of Faygo, offering kids a chance to make their own ice cream floats.

Noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Campus Martius Park, 800 Woodward Ave. in Detroit.

This festival hosted by the Paint Creek Center, a Rochester nonprofit, combines traditional fall harvest celebrations with art.

It will feature more than 200 artists, 25 food trucks and stands, stage entertainment, activity stations, a kids art zone and more.

2 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at Rochester Municipal Park, 400 6th St. in Rochester.  A free shuttle bus and free parking is available Saturday and Sunday from Rochester High School. Free.

This all-media exhibition in Northville runs through Sept. 24 and features 52 works created by 40 artists from Michigan and around the country.

10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Northville Art House, 215 W. Cady in Northville. Free.
