The most wonderful time of year is just around the corner—and, by that, we mean Amazon Prime Day. For two glorious days in the summer, the Everything Store, if you will, offers exclusive discounts to Prime members that are so good you'll feel like a kid on Christmas morning.

As Amazon announced in a global press release on June 16, the two-day shopping extravaganza will run on July 12 and July 13 this year. In advance of Prime Day, Amazon released more early deals than ever this year, so we recommend starting your lists (or even starting to shop) right about now. Competition for the best Prime Day deals will be stiff next week, and many of them will sell out fast.

At the top of our lists? Le Creuset's cookware. Since its founding in 1925, Le Creuset has been known for making the gold standard of cookware — and for good reason. Its magic lies in its enameled cast iron, which heats up recipes quickly and efficiently. (And, in case you missed it, cast iron enhances everything from pan-seared salmon to a cheesy casserole.) Last Prime Day, we saw some discounts on Dutch ovens and select kitchen accessories, but this year's deals have already eclipsed those savings. Though the French brand is incredibly popular amongst home cooks and professional chefs, it's not exactly cheap. In fact, its signature Dutch Oven will set you back hundreds of dollars. But, since Prime Day is known for its deals that almost feel too good to be true, it's the best time to treat yourself to some Le Creuset for less. These deals are *chef's kiss.*

Amazon Prime Day is a sales event that started in 2015 to commemorate the company's 20th anniversary. Since then, it has been Amazon's biggest sale of the year, with major discounts across all product categories.

Amazon Prime Day 2022 will take place on Tuesday, July 12 and Wednesday, July 13. It is a quick two-day event, meaning you only have 48 hours to score the biggest savings. However, as in past years, Amazon has unofficially extended Prime Day savings with Prime Day pre-sales, like these Le Creuset deals. We also expect to see post-Prime Day sales in the days following the official event.
