After releasing the No. 1 best-selling original Always Pan — which went on to become the most sold-out pan ever — Our Place didn’t slow down one bit. The woman-owned brand went on to release the Perfect Pot, a cutting board and knife set, and today, it’s adding another major release to its roster: A cast iron Always Pan.

Available today for pre-order, the new cast Iron Always Pan features the same game-changing ingenuity that made the original Always Pan a crowd favorite. If you can believe it, this new pan completely sold out in under 20 minutes when the brand first previewed it on April 5.

Our Place’s cast iron Always Pan is the first multifunctional cast-iron pan ever, letting you do everything from frying and braising to grilling and roasting, an all-in-one vessel.

Also, as an added bonus, the cast iron Always Pan comes with a modular glass lid, a beechwood spatula with a built-in spoon rest and custom silicone hot grips.

Fans of the OG Always Pan will also appreciate that this new release comes in all six signature Our Place colors: Steam, Spice, Char, Sage, Lavender and Blue Salt.

Built to last, Our Place’s premium enameled cast iron pan gives you the cooking benefits of a standard cast-iron skillet but without the headache or upkeep. It’s also oven- and broiler-safe, withstands high temperatures and seamlessly moves from the stovetop to the oven. And like the original Always Pan, this new cast-iron version is both nontoxic and free of PTFEs, GenX chemicals, heavy metals, lead and cadmium.

I recently had the opportunity to cook with the new cast iron Always Pan, and it’s quickly become one of my new favorite pieces of cookware. For starters, the pan is really beautiful. If you thought the original Always Pan was good-looking, I’m telling you the cast iron Always Pan is even more stunning. The enameled exterior is sleek and shiny, and it just looks so chic on the stovetop. Also worth noting, the cast iron Always Pan is significantly heavier than the original Always Pan. That shouldn’t be surprising given that the new pan is made from cast iron, but it’s still important to be aware of.

When it comes to cooking with the cast iron Always Pan, it really is a pleasure. So far, I’ve used the pan to cook beef, chicken and salmon, and they’ve all turned out beautifully with a nice crisp exterior. Unlike the original Always Pan which has an insanely good nonstick coating which makes it perfect for scrambled eggs and sautéing veggies, meats can stick to the cast iron Always Pan. However, that’s easily avoidable if you simply follow the cooking instructions, which explain that you do need to use a bit of oil in the pan while it’s heating up and then resist the urge to move around your meats until they’re ready. I know it’s hard, but just do it. Everything I cooked released perfectly from the cast iron Always Pan without any sticking at all when I just let it do its thing and didn’t poke it until it was done on one side.

Next, I plan to try using the cast iron Always Pan for an oven recipe. I’ve never made a Dutch baby (basically a giant pancake cooked in the oven), but I’m inclined to give it a try because they look so yummy, and they seem easy enough to pull off in the cast iron Always Pan. I may also try baking off a batch of biscuits in the pan, too.

Grab Our Place’s cast iron Always Pan now while it’s still in stock. Given that this is a new release, this pan is expected to sell out fast.

It's a central-bank heavy week ahead, with the U.S. Federal Reserve expected to deliver its second straight half-point rate hike to bring inflation under control. Britain and Sweden, too, will likely lift interest rates again, while Switzerland may be getting ready to join the rate-hike club. In contrast, the Bank of Japan should confirm it's ultra-dovish stance remains solid.

Asian jet fuel refining profits - already at all-time highs - have enough leg room for more gains in the coming weeks, as relaxed border curbs boost summer travel demand and global airline capacity tops 100 million seats for the first time since early 2020. Despite rising fares and fuel surcharges, the number of scheduled airline seats has steadily risen for the past three months, industry data showed. Asia's benchmark jet fuel refining margins, also known as cracks, in Singapore this week hit a record high of $50.75 a barrel over Dubai crude, according to Refinitiv data that goes back to 2009.

Wells Fargo declined to comment on the criminal investigation mentioned in the report.

SHANGHAI (Reuters) -Production at Tesla Inc's Shanghai factory is on track to fall by over a third this quarter from the first three months of the year as China's zero-COVID lockdowns caused deeper disruptions to output than Elon Musk had predicted. The U.S. automaker is aiming to make more than 71,000 vehicles at its Shanghai plant in June, according to an internal production memo seen by Reuters. Together with the 44,301 units it produced in April and May, according to data from China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), that would add up to around 115,300 units in the second quarter.

TOKYO (Reuters) -Japan's government and central bank said on Friday they were concerned by recent sharp falls in the yen in a rare joint statement, the strongest warning to date that Tokyo could intervene to support the currency as it plumbs 20-year lows. The statement underscores growing concern among policymakers over the damage that sharp yen depreciation could inflict on Japan's fragile economy by hurting business activity and consumers. But many market players doubt that G7 member Japan will step in soon to directly prop up the yen, a diplomatically fraught and potentially costly course of action that last occurred 20 years ago.

Canada's main stock index fell on Friday, as stronger-than-expected U.S. consumer price data stoked fears that the Federal Reserve would continue with its aggressive policy tightening to tame soaring inflation. At 9:44 a.m. ET (13:44 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was down 183.47 points, or 0.89%, at 20,380.42 and set for a weekly drop, ending its three-week winning streak. The Labor Department's report showed U.S. consumer price index (CPI) accelerated to 1% in May from 0.3% in April, while on an annual basis it increased at a blistering 8.6% as gasoline prices hit a record high and the cost of services rose further.

Most of Ontario’s mask mandates will come to an end on June 11, the province announced, as the COVID-19 situation continues to improve. That means the provincial mask mandate will no longer apply to public transit and hospital settings, but will still be in place in long-term care and retirement homes. “While masking requirements are expiring, organizations may implement their own policies,” Ontario’s chief medical health officer Kieran Moore said in a statement. The decision is an “important development”, says the Public Policy Forum’s Sean Speer, and one that he says will help resolve some lingering confusion about Ontario’s mixed bag of public health rules. On this episode of Editor’s Edition, Yahoo Finance Canada’s Alicja Siekierska Speer discuss Ontario’s mask mandate change. They also dig into the ongoing chaos at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, the government’s response to it, and what it means for Canada’s reputation on the world stage. They also talk about the Ontario election, what policies to expect from Premier Doug Ford, and how long it will take for a full return to the office. After more than two years, Canadian travel demand has finally returned – and with that has come long lines and delays at some of the busiest airports in the country. Many travellers, particularly those at Toronto's Pearson International Airport, are facing long lines at security and customs, and some international passengers are waiting for hours on the tarmac due to delays. Transport Minister Omar Alghabra said the government is working on reducing wait times at Canadian airports, hiring hundreds of new agents for the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) and creating a task force to address the bottlenecks.  On this episode of Editor’s Edition, Yahoo Finance Canada’s Alicja Siekierska and the Public Policy Forum’s Sean Speer discuss what impact the situation at Canadian airport could have on travel and tourism in the country. "At this stage, there is a threat of a kind of brand erosion for Canada as a travel destination and for Canadian airlines as a means of travelling internationally," Speer said.  If you have any policy-related questions, or feedback about the show, please email alicja@yahoofinance.com.

None of the firms has exploited lithium at a commercial scale before.
