From the latest launches and the craziest collabs, here's Delish's guide to Le Creuset.

The year is 1925, and Armand Desaegher and Octave Aubecq put their heads together and design the very first French oven casserole dish. Almost a century later and Le Creuset is one of the most iconic cookware brands in the world, with signature products, dozens of collections and over 16 glorious colourways to choose from.

And so, with Le Creuset's range of cookware expanding with every season, we bring you a complete guide to everything you need to know, from the latest launches and the craziest collabs, to the clean and care requirements and fan favourites.

It’s no secret that we’re crazy-obsessed with pretty much anything Le Creuset – whether it’s Salt and Pepper Mills or Cast Iron Bread Ovens – which is why we're always on top of any of the brand's launches. Fancy a look into what the brand has released so far this year?

The brand's most recent launch sees the reveal of a new limited-edition range inspired by the sun-drenched fields of Provence. Think refined cookware with a soft matte texture and beautiful olive branch motif. The perfect collection of cookware and dining essentials, this range features everything from Cast Iron Soup Pots to Shallow Casserole Dishes and Oval Platters, all embellished with the same picturesque design.

The dreamiest shade of green, Le Creuset likens this new colourway to tropical grass.

"Embodying all the qualities of its beloved namesake, Bamboo is a stylish hue with a joyful spirit, enhancing any garden, and now any table. Whether dining indoors or out, Bamboo makes every dish feel fresh and inviting."

Described as "unmistakably joyful," (that it *absolutely* is) Le Creuset's Riviera collection gives sun-kissed bliss and coastal-hues. Designed with the South of France in mind, we're talking Cereal Bowls, Tea Plates, Ramekins and Espresso Mugs, as well as a Set of Four Petite Casseroles. Yep, we couldn't be more obsessed...

Previously dabbled in bread-making? Earlier this year Le Creuset came out with a Cast Iron Bread Oven for those of us who can't help but love to make bakery-style bread in the comfort of our own homes. And the launch has gone down an absolute treat, with fans across the nation loving the domed lid, low profile and matte black interior.

Another newbie to Le Creuset's Signature Collection is this Cast Iron Frying Pan with Wooden Handle. Sure – it's not the brand's first frying pan, but it is the first designed with a durable wooden handle. Perfect for day-to-day cooking, this neat kitchen addition comes with an ergonomic wooden handle which allows for better grip and comfort when in use. Not only that, it's available in 11 colours and even features a hook so that you can hang your new favourite pan up for everyone to see. Sold? We sure are.

Admired for its incredible heat retention and iconic design, perhaps the brand’s most respected invention is none other than its Signature Round Casserole (yes *that* casserole dish). Constantly flooding our explore pages and often making appearances side-by-side with viral chefs and TV pros, Le Creuset’s instalments of both shallow, oval and classic casserole dishes are ones that continue to impress, persistently reeling in more faithful cult followers (us included).

Alongside the launch of gorgeous classics, Le Creuset has also been known to dip its toes into a fun collab or two including Disney, Star Wars and even Harry Potter. But before you jump for joy over Han Solo Roasters, Darth Vader Dutch Ovens and Mini Star Wars Cocottes, we're here to give you a *friendly* reminder that's it's only the Harry Potter range us Brits can get our hands on. That being said, the HP range is probably our favourite...

Featuring everything from Lord Voldemort Rectangle Covered Casseroles to Hogwarts House Potholders, Three Broomsticks Magical Mugs and, of course, a Harry Potter Round Casserole, this range is fantastic. Just think of the spellbinding soirée you could put together?

We get it, it's a sizeable upfront cost for a piece of cookware. But think of it this way – high quality materials, even higher standards and expert craftspeople, everything Le Creuset produce is designed with absolute care and provides an exceptional performance.

And even more importantly, pretty much anything you purchase from Le Creuset comes complete with a guarantee. And a lot of the time, it's not just any guarantee. Across Le Creuset's cast-iron, stainless steel, toughened non-stick, hard anodised and bakeware collections, you're given a lifetime guarantee.

If you look after your Le Creuset (and follow our cleaning requirements listed below), then you're pretty much set on having Le Creuset for life. Seriously.

Across the globe, it's rumoured that there's an extensive range of over 100 colours. But for us Brits, there's 16 colourways to choose from. Delish's favourites include the classic orange Volcanic, the ocean blue Marseille and the crisp cream Meringue.

Yes! Le Creuset do have shops worldwide. In the UK, there are around 30 shops.

Yes – caring for your beloved cast iron dishes might take a little work, but how else did you think they survive generation after generation?

First things first and before you dredge anything in hot, soapy water, it's important you let things cool down. Likewise, *do not* plunge any sort of hot pan into cold water (especially if it's cast iron). Why? As much as Le Creuset's known for its durability, thermal shock may still occur, resulting in cracking or loss of enamel.

As far as stubborn food residues go, it's recommended you fill the pan with warm water and let it soak for 15 to 20 minutes before washing (this is for toughened non-stick, stoneware, and stainless steel, as well as cast iron).

When it comes to cleaning tools, avoid using scourers or abrasive cleaners as they can cause damage. Instead, reach for soft, nylon pads or brushes for cleaning in between the ribs on the grills, or for removing small food deposits.

The cookware favourite is no stranger to a money-saving deal or two, either. Often taking part in major shopping events like Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday, the brand is also known for putting on their own sales. And luckily for you, we’ve trawled our way through Le Creuset’s website to find you the best offers available RN.
