And a mini Perfect Pot casserole, too.
We’re big fans of Our Place’s original Always Pan; the US cookware brand’s signature pastel-hued skillet that can comfortably fit a pasta or casserole dish for four while still being shallow enough to fry your morning eggs.
The versatile bit of kitchen kit can probably claim to be the only piece of cookware ever to go viral, winning points the world over (and a one-time 30,000 strong waiting list for a restock) with its pretty range of colours and multitasking capabilities. Now the brand has released a mini version to help you out further in the kitchen.
Coming with a nesting steamer, spoon and a clever built-in spoon rest, the Always Pan is an undeniably handy bit of kit to keep in your cupboards. However, when we tried it, we did question the brand’s claims that it can completely replace eight of your other pieces of cookware. After all, if you’re making something that requires a side dish, you’re going to have to hang onto one other for your greens, at least!
But now Our Place has solved that problem with the release of its mini Always Pan for £100. This smaller addition to the family makes a great accompaniment to the original version, giving you somewhere to make side dishes or breakfast for one without having to bust out a large skillet.
The littler version is just as aesthetically pleasing as its counterpart, so you can keep both out on your open shelving and they’ll always look lovely. It'll match any other Our Place pieces you already own, too, making a cohesive scheme for all your cookware.
The two pans are available for purchase together, where you’ll enjoy a small saving, or individually. The mini skillet comes in all of the brand’s signature shades, including the pretty dusty pink Spice hue, but if you’re after one of the special edition colours, you’ll have to buy an original.
As a bonus, the brand’s matching casserole, the Perfect Pot, has also been given the mini treatment. Retailing at £110, unlike the original, the small version has been treated to the addition of a heatproof handle for easier manoeuvrability and to help you avoid burnt fingers while cooking.
We’ll take one of each, please!
